In the State of Florida, a marriage certificate is issued by the Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts in the County the marriage was filed in or FL Department of Health. For an apostille purpose you will need to request certified copy. Marriage certificate issued Circuit court must be signed by the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The certified copy will also have a embossed seal and a stamp from the Circuit and County Courts.
Marriage certificate issued from FL Department of Health must be signed by current State Registrar.
